Sharing your passion for grape growing and wine making is even EASIER!

Consider volunteering in the MGGA Booth at the Minnesota State Fair this year, and spend an entire day at the fair FREE! You can sign-up with a friend/partner, or we will assign a partner to join you in the booth! Shifts are scheduled from 11-3pm and 3-7pm daily.

At The Booth

• Handouts, brochures, and reference materials to help you along
• NEW! Comfortable stools to sit on
• Bottled water
• Results from the 2012 International Cold Climate Wine Competition (ICCWC) winning wine bottles on display
• Opportunity for a commercial vineyard or winery owner to bring FREE brochures and hand them out to the public. A little FREE self-promotion shall we say!

There is never a dull moment. Fair-goers are thrilled to hear about grapes growing in Minnesota, and especially thrilled to know where they can taste these delicious grapes made into wine! In years past, we have directed many a wine enthusiasts to the opposite wing of the Ag-Hort building to sample Minnesota wines. This year, we will be directing them to the Epiphany Diner where the Minnesota Farm Wineries Association (MNFWA) will be exhibiting and sampling Minnesota wines and wine ice cream!

This is an opportunity for beginners, enthusiasts, and experts alike!
